Pre-bagged Formulations
Super-Pozz®
has a proven track record with manufacturers of proprietary pre-bagged formulations
i.e. Precision Grouts, Repairs (Wet & Dry Sprayed), Self Levelling Screeds,
Adhesive & Mineral Additives.
Due to the fineness
and spherical shape, Super-Pozz® imparts many technical
benefits like good viscosity, reduced water demand , fine filler effect
and plasticity. Due to the decrease in water requirement a reduction in
shrinkage is realized. It is also a highly pozzolanic mineral improving
the late strengths and durability of the end products.
The addition of Super-Pozz®
can positively effect the fresh and fully cured properties of premixed cementitious
base products and is currently being used by major international companies
in pre-bag formulations, like:
- Screeds
- Grouts
- Adhesives
- Repair mortars
- Spray concrete
Grouts
Injection grouts, mortar
grouts and infill grouts are all systems where rheology of the fresh system
is of utmost importance in order for the product to fulfil its desired function.
Due to the spherical shape, high reactivity and ultra-fine particle size,
Super-Pozz® complements the rheology and workability
of grouts.
Floor
screeds
Self levelling
floor screeds require carefully selected aggregates in order to
achieve the required fluidity, strength and no or low shrinkage.
The inclusion of a fine spherical product like Super-Pozz® will assist
in optimizing the mix to achieve economical results.
Repair
mortars
Repair mortars
need to be easily mixed, viscous yet cohesive and thixotropic. When
applied with a trowel, the material should slide off the trowel
easily and adhere to the repair surface without sagging. Super-Pozz®
can actively be used to assist in achieving the above mentioned
properties. Super-Pozz® is a pozzolan and will therefore increase
the late compressive strength and assist in producing an impermeable
end product.
