Sprayed
Concrete
The use of sprayed concrete
(shotcrete) and gunite has increased over the last decades, particularly
in tunnel applications, mining activities, rock stabilization and repair
work. As the use of shotcrete has increased, so have the demands on the
quality and performance of the concrete for spraying: increased bond,
less rebound, and dusting, higher strength and increased durability in
harsh environments. The use of Super-Pozz®, due to its fineness and spherical
shape, can improve many properties of sprayed concrete.
